What is the Forever Book?

The creation of The Forever Book was the result of the owner Lynne Galvin. Having suffered the loss of some very special people in her life, she created a book (now known as The Forever Book) to help her through the difficult time in her life she was experiencing, with the purpose of self healing.

One night Lynne had a very inspirational dream that touched her heart. This dream inspired her to share the book she created for others to use. When searching for gifts with meaning, the forever book is the perfect sympathy gift for anyone who has lost a loved one or who is going through a difficult time in life.

Although The Forever Book was created as a result of bereavement and dealing with loss, its purpose is to help you with your journey through life, and with all of life’s events you experience.

The Forever Book has five covers to choose from - the book's content is the same regardless of cover choice.

The Forever Book has four parts:

Memorial Cards & Mementos

This area provides a special place for memorial cards and mementos of loved ones lost to honor and cherish their memory. Many of us have memorial cards or a special picture, obituary or card by a special person whom we lost that is very meaningful to us. It is useful for many other items, such as, newspaper clippings, a dried flower or other items that are special to you and remind you of your loved ones. This area helps you cope with the loss of loved ones by having a special place for those items so they are not forgotten, but remembered, cherished and honored. Three-pocket document protectors and full-page document protectors are provided for those special items.

The three-pocket document protector can be used for several memorial cards or you can dedicate an entire page to someone by putting in their memorial card and other items, like their obituary and picture, using the three-pocket document protector. The full-page document protectors are for large memorial cards, a favorite greeting card, and other items that are meaningful to you to remind you of that special person.

The Forever Book is for you to customize to your life. You can leave the sections as they are, or easily rearrange them to your personal preference by opening the rings and relocating the pages.

A three-pocket document protector may be used in the Favorite Prayers section for prayer cards, or a full-page document protector containing an inspirational article may be used in the Acts of Kindness section. View the Memorial Cards & Mementos pages.

Favorite Prayers

This area is for favorite prayers you have that are inspirational to you, which touch your heart. You could also include in this area favorite poems, messages, phrases, inspiring quotes and songs that are touching, uplifting, inspiring and empowering to you. You may also relocate a three-pocket document protector to this area for prayer cards or a full-page document protector for a large prayer you may have.

The words in the border area of this section are in lighter print and are there as a reminder of what many prayers provide, suggest, or promote. They are: peace, happiness, faith, guidance, moving, calming, well-being, appreciation, forgiveness, harmony, strength, inspiration, wisdom, uplifting, serenity, tranquility, respect, and honor. Prayer Intentions

The prayer intentions area is for you to list the names of people and issues you would like to keep in your prayers. You may want to pray for a hospitalized friend, a relative who is ill, those who are struggling in life in some way, world peace, or issues that are important to you.

Often we intend to pray for people, but with busy days and nights we tend to forget. Hopefully by having this special dedicated area, you will remember all of the people and issues you want to keep in your prayers. By using The Forever Book, you will no longer forget to give someone the best gift that you can give – a prayer.

The words in the border area of this section are in lighter print and are there in case you need assistance with your prayer list. They are: peace, the suffering, world peace, the sick, friends, wisdom, the hungry, family, tranquility, strength, serenity, forgiveness, freedom for all, mourners, patience, well-being, good health, and understanding. Acts of Kindness

The Acts of Kindness area is for you to reflect, meditate and think of your own life, all that you have to be thankful for and ways through acts of kindness you can make the world a better place. You may want to volunteer at school, church, in your neighborhood, or for another worthy cause that you believe in.

There are many things you can do, regardless of your age, to help someone else. Not only do you help the person or cause you choose, but there is a very rewarding feeling you receive when you give of yourself.

The words in the border area of this section are in lighter print and are there as ideas. They are: volunteer, offer help, take someone elderly to lunch, visit with someone who cannot hear, be kind, rake someone’s yard, shovel someone’s driveway, be compassionate, be patient, be helpful, be loving, read to someone who can’t see, help the poor, visit the sick, sweep someone’s walkway, listen, and be understanding. The Forever Book is elegantly custom designed and is 9″ by 7″ in size. The color is burgundy. It has a pocket on the inside front cover and a pocket on the inside back cover. The memorial card area has 7 three-pocket page protectors so that you can insert memorial cards, pictures and other items easily. There are also three full page protectors for larger items. The other sections have 25 pages, double sided for you to personalize. You can keep the setup as it is or easily customize it to your preference. There are five covers to choose from, and the content is the same in all. Refills are available for each section when needed.
